LVDT transducers, or linear variable differential transformers, are electromechanical devices designed to convert linear displacement or position changes into electrical signals. LVDT transducers consist of a primary winding and two secondary windings wound around a cylindrical core. As the core moves linearly within the LVDT housing, it induces voltages in the secondary windings proportional to the core's position relative to the primary winding.
